12th-Ranked Wildcats To Visit Augie, Host USF

SIOUX FALLS, SD/WAYNE – After playing in six weekend conference contests, the Wayne State College volleyball team will play two matches in three days.

#12 WSC is 18-4 overall (9-4 NSIC) tied with Winona State and St. Cloud State for fourth in league play.

The Wildcats will visit Augustana University in Sioux Falls, South Dakota on Thursday, October 31 at 6 p.m. Wayne State won in four sets over Augie on September 24 in Wayne during a non-conference contest.

The ‘Cats have dropped two of their past four matches including a road four set loss to Bemidji State (6-15/3-10 NSIC).

Augie is 14-8 overall and 7-6 in NSIC play which is tied for eighth with Upper Iowa and Southwest Minnesota State.

WSC will also host the University of Sioux Falls on Saturday, November 2 at 1 p.m. USF enters the day 14-7 (6-7 NSIC/11th).
