Young Nebraskans Week Set For September 23-29, Submission Of Events Due By September 6

LINCOLN – In late September a week will recognize, support and connect the network of talented young Nebraskans who will lead the Nebraska economy and its communities into the future.

According to a release and organized by the Nebraska Department of Economic Development (DED), the Second annual Young Nebraskans Week will be held September 23 – 29.

The week is modeled after “YP Week,” which was created by the Lincoln Young Professionals Group.

Young Nebraskans Week features all varieties of events — from formal networking luncheons to live music and brewery tours — arranged and sponsored by local organizations and businesses.

Communities interested in or planning to participate in this year’s Young Nebraskans Week are encouraged to visit the event website to sign up and/or share their ideas. All events submitted by September 6 will be posted on the event website on or before September 9.
