WSC Planetarium To Highlight Biology And The Universe April 29 – 30

WAYNE – Over the course of the Spring semester at Wayne State College, the Fred G. Dale Planetarium will offer both planetarium and laser shows.

According to a release from Wayne State College, everyone is welcome to enjoy the Spring 2022 Fred G. Dale Planetarium schedule at WSC.

During this weekend of Friday, April 29 and Saturday, April 30, the planetarium will highlight ‘Biology and The Universe.’

Attendees will also be able to enjoy the lights and music of the many laser shows presented throughout the season, including Classic Rock, Laser Country, Laser Beatles and Pink Floyd.

Friday’s planetarium show will begin at 7 p.m. and the laser show to follow at 8 p.m. while Saturday’s planetarium show will start at 1 p.m. with the laser show at 2 p.m.

Doors open 20 minutes prior to the start of a show. Planetarium shows generally include a tour of the current night sky, a view of the constellations and a full dome video.

The final planetarium and laser shows of the Spring season will be on Friday, May 6 featuring ‘Navigating the Summer Skies’. The Saturday, May 7 shows were canceled due to WSC graduation.
