WSC Planetarium On Midterm Break March 11 – 12 With No Shows

WAYNE – Over the course of the Spring semester at Wayne State College, the Fred G. Dale Planetarium will offer both planetarium and laser shows.

According to a release from Wayne State College, everyone is welcome to enjoy the Spring 2022 Fred G. Dale Planetarium schedule at WSC.

With Wayne State College on Midterm Break from March 7 – 11, no shows will take place at the planetarium during March 11 – 12.

The next planetarium and laser show weekend will be on Friday, March 18 and Saturday, March 19 highlighting shows for kids in pre-kindergarten through second grade for another ‘Kids Weekend’.

Normally Friday planetarium shows will begin at 7 p.m. and the laser show to follow at 8 p.m. while Saturday planetarium shows will start at 1 p.m. with the laser show at 2 p.m.

Make sure to watch for more information about a Star Party on April 8, hosted by the Honors Astronomy class at WSC held at Ike’s Lake. A back-up date would be Saturday, April 9.

Doors open 20 minutes prior to the start of a show. Planetarium shows generally include a tour of the current night sky, a view of the constellations and a full dome video.
