WAYNE – Youth are invited to participate in this year’s Cheer Camp and join the Wayne State College Cheer Team for a performance in late January.
According to a release, girls and boys in kindergarten through sixth grade can sign-up for the camp portion of the event from the Wayne Community Activity Center between 9 a.m. – noon on Saturday, January 22.
The performance will then take place later that day when the Wayne State College women’s and men’s basketball teams host Minnesota Duluth at 3:30/5:30 p.m.
Register online under the ‘Activities’ tab at cac.cityofwayne.org or call the Wayne Community Activity Center at 402-375-4803 prior to Sunday, January 9 with any questions.
Cost to attend is $30 with an additional $5 for a bow. Those who attend will be able to participate in the clinic, receive a snack, t-shirt along with admission for the participant and one adult to the WSC basketball doubleheader.
