OAKLAND – Culvert work is set to begin this week in a northeast community.
According to a release from the Nebraska Department of Transportation (NDOT), the work will be for the intersection of 4th Street/US-77 in Oakland. Work, weather permitting, is set to begin on Monday, July 15.
For the duration of the project, 4th Street, east of US-77, will be closed. Anticipated completion is the first week in August.
Motorists are reminded to drive cautiously in and near construction zones and selected alternate routes.
