WAYNE – Amy and Daryl Mundil joined Dan Baddorf on Wednesday going over how they followed the clues during the 43rd annual KTCH/KCTY Easter Egg Hunt.
This year’s “egg” was a purple metal money clip located in a bush behind the “Welcome to Wayne” sign just south of Wayne on Highway 15.
Amy said the final clue had them going south on Pearl Street and the Mundil’s started to drive around.
“We had been to Victor Park, we’d been to the walking trail,” said Amy. “We actually had even gone back north thinking okay you might turn us around. So, we even went to library and the courthouse. And we thought, you know what, let’s just drive south.”
One of their other searches during a previous Easter Egg hunt had them looking at the Welcome to Wayne Sign as Daryl spotted it.
The Mundil’s win a prize package valued at over $2,500.
The Mundil’s went through each clue and talked about their interpretation. Clues began on Wednesday, March 24 and the final clue was given on Tuesday, March 30. A written explanation of the clues are available at all participating sponsors.
