WAYNE – As Memorial Day approaches on Monday, May 25, the Wayne Consolidated Veterans Memorial Day program will look and sound a little different this year.

Due to the Coronavirus situation, the Wayne Consolidated Veterans will not be hosting their Memorial Day program at Greenwood Cemetery in Wayne.

Tune into Big Red Country ‘KTCH’ 104.9 and waynedailynews.com shortly after 9 a.m. Monday to hear this year’s Memorial Day program.

Galen Wiser will deliver the Memorial Day message followed by the roll call of the deceased Veterans. The traditional 21-gun salute and “Taps” will then be aired along with a musical tribute to the various Armed Forces.
