Wayne State Transfer Day, College Search Programs Available In March

WAYNE – A pair of March events are being made available for college students from another college or university as well as current high school students.

According to a release from Wayne State College, WSC will be hosting a ‘Transfer Day’ on Wednesday, March 4 and a ‘College Search’ event on Saturday, March 21.

The transfer day will allow students transferring to Wayne State to learn about both the admission and financial aid processes. Students will also talk about transfer credits, visit with facility in their academic area of study, meet students while experiencing the life at Wayne State College.

The program will last from 9 until 11:45 a.m. with an optional lunch to follow.

 

Then, later in the month of March, Wayne State College will host a program for all high school juniors and their families. Attendees will learn about the college search, admissions and financial aid processes, explore academic programs while also meeting students.

The March 21 event will start at 9 a.m. and go through 1:45 p.m. with lunch provided.

Other available dates for ‘Focus on You Friday’ will be held on Friday, March 20; Friday, April 3 and Friday, April 17. The ‘Wildcat Experience’ is another program that takes place at 9:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. during the school year and a Spanish Visti Day: Dia de Familia will take place on Saturday, April 4 for Spanish-speaking students and their families.
