Wayne State College To Suspend Face-To-Face Classes, Moving To Remote Delivery Model March 23

WAYNE – Less than a week after extending the spring break for another week, officials with Wayne State College have now suspended classes for the remainder of the 2020 semester.

According to a release from WSC, classes will now move towards a remote delivery model beginning Monday, March 23.

Individual course teachers will contact students by Wednesday afternoon. Students are being asked to continue to monitor their campus email for additional updates.

Campus services such as dining, counseling, student health, the library and academic support are available for assistance. Residence halls will remain open to serve a small population of students who do not have another home or cannot get home.

Guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention is for public groups be limited to no more than 10 people. Northeast Nebraska Public Health officials are also adding to stay at least six feet away from people and for no longer than 10 minutes.
