Wayne Public Library November Events, Evening Activities Continue Throughout Month

WAYNE – With a busy month of November, the second full week will feature several events along with more fun activities scheduled for the upcoming weeks.

Starting Tuesday, the Wayne Public Library will host another Adult Coloring Night sponsored by Pac-N-Save. The Library is located at 410 N Pearl Street.

This will mark the second-to-last free program which is open to all high school grads and older. Adult coloring will take place from 6 – 7:30 p.m. at the library. Coloring pages and colors will be provided along with light refreshments.

Contact the Wayne Public Library at 402-375-3135 if you plan on attending. The last 2018 Adult Coloring Night will be held on Tuesday, December 11.

Toddler Time with stories and music is set for Wednesday, November 14 at 10 a.m. This event is designed for babies and toddlers.

Also, for the third Thursday of the month, the Wayne Public Library will host a Knitting Night. Drop-in between 5 – 8 p.m. to knit.

The Wayne Public Library Book Club selected “The Bean Tree” by Barbara Kingsolver as their October book. A discussion date is set for Tuesday, November 27 at 6 p.m. from the Senior Center.

The Wayne Public Library will be closed include on Friday, November 16 at 5 p.m. for staff in-service. The library will also close at 4 p.m. on Wednesday, November 21 – Thursday, November 23 in observance of the Thanksgiving Holiday and back open for regular hours on Saturday, November 24.
