Wayne Public Library June 27 – 30 Events

WAYNE – With the final week of June underway, the Wayne Public Library continues to offer youth and adult programming all summer long.

According to a release, take and make your own sugar scrub kits which are available while supplies last at the library. The Wayne Public Library is located at 410 Pearl Street.

The Traditional Book Club will be meeting at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, June 28 from the library conference room. This month’s book is ‘The Friendship List’ by Susan Mallery.

Each Thursday at 6:30 p.m. will also allow for the Needle Night group to meet.

The deadline to turn in Youth Summer Reading Program reading minutes was this past weekend as the SRP party will be on Wednesday, June 29 at 2 p.m. from the library where youth will enjoy a movie and popcorn.

Sign-up also continues for those six and older to participate in the Nebraska Virtual Reality Game Truck. The Thursday, June 30 VR Truck will offer an African Safari at 10 a.m. and Walk on the Moon at 11:30 a.m. Guests can only sign-up for one program as space is limited to 25 each. The Wayne Public Library will be closed on Monday, July 4 in observance of the 4th of July holiday.

Library hours include Monday through Thursday from 10 a.m. – 8 p.m.; Friday from 10 a.m. – 6 p.m. and Saturday between 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.
