WAYNE – The Wayne Kiwanis Club is kicking off their first Flag fundraiser!
Over the next month you may be visited by a Kiwanis member to inquire about purchasing a flag for your business or home. The proceeds from the sales will go directly to the local Wayne Kiwanis Club and be used right here in Wayne!
According to Karissa Hays who is coordinating the Flag Fundraiser, each flag is made in the United States and is of premium quality. A flag fundraiser order form has been distributed to Wayne area businesses by The Wayne Area Economic Development office. The members email contains size reference and pricing. Businesses that would like to order a flag now, can reply to the email and place an order. The ordering deadline is March 7th.
Hays encourages local residents and businesses to consider ordering a flag while also assisting The Wayne Kiwanis Club in their efforts to benefit our local children.
