WEST POINT – Earlier this month, the Wayne FFA chapter participated in District 3 Leadership Development Events (LDEs).
From West Point, these contests included individual speaking, parliamentary procedure (Parli Pro or Conduct of Chapter Meetings) and ag demonstrations.
Parker Kesting earned a second place (purple) and is a state qualifier for extemporaneous.
Other results were awarded to Abi Hawthorne (Creed – Blue); Lindsay Niemann (Creed – Blue); Kate Hill (Jr. Public – Red); Skylor Belt (Natural Resources – Red); Coby Dickes (Natural Resources – Red); Ag Demo competitors were Mikaela McManigal, Mady Sievers, Mia Nelsen and Ellie Jech (Red); Conduct of Chapter Meetings (freshmen) – Wayne 2 were Ceilus Ibarra, Lindsay Niemann, Dalton Zortman, Ty Zach, Will Leseberg, Colson Nelsen and Kadence Beiermann (Red); Conduct of Chapter Meetings (freshmen) – Rylin Hall, Madi Janke, Charli Sievers, Sammi Gubbels, Landen Roeber (alternate), Olivia Mrsny, CiCi Risor and Alexis Frye (Red); Parli Pro – Ben Sandoz, Brogan Foote, James Dorcey, Riley Haschke, Ella Leseberg and Taytum Sweetland (Blue); Employment Skills – Riley Haschke (Blue) and Employment Skills – Logan (Finalist – Purple).
The 2022 State FFA Convention will be April 6 – 8 in Lincoln.
