WAYNE – One more case of COVID-19 has been confirmed in the Northeast Nebraska Public Health Department Health District Tuesday.
According to a release from NNPHD, the new patient who tested positive is a female in her 20s residing in Wayne county.
As of Tuesday evening, there have been 713 COVID-19 tests reported for people living in the NNPHD Health District of Cedar, Dixon, Thurston and Wayne counties. The results of these tests include 70 positive cases (Cedar – 6, Dixon – 27, Thurston – 31 and Wayne county – 6), 608 negatives and 35 tests currently pending results.
As far as any cases, when NNPHD releases someone from isolation the health department no longer follows them to see how they are doing as the report from the health department does not include number of hospitalizations or recoveries.
