WAYNE – As many county fairs across the county had to adjust to the pandemic last summer, the 2021 fair season is hoping to offer all of their attractions. After postponing the 2020 fair last year, the Wayne County Fair Board is excited to announce the 2021 Wayne County Fair is scheduled for late July and recently announced their Saturday concert.
This year’s headliner will be Josh Turner with the opening act being Larry Fleet on Saturday, July 24.
The fair will begin with their check-in day on Wednesday, July 21 through Sunday, July 25, 2021.
Josh Turner is a MCA Nashville recording artist and, while a multi-platinum-selling star himself, is a country music fan first and foremost. Turner has sold more than 8.5 million units and amassed more than 2.5 billion global streams for nearly two decades.
Fleet is a Chattanooga-based Country singer-songwriter.
Doug Temme, fair board president, will join Dan Baddorf on the ‘View from Wayne America’ on Friday, February 12.
