WAYNE – As the monthly fair meeting was recently held, remember to purchase your Wayne County Fair passes early.
According to a release from the Wayne County Fair, the Wayne County Agricultural Society held their regular monthly meeting on Thursday, June 10 at the Wayne County Fair office located at 301 Pheasant Run.
Also, season passes are on sale for the 2021 Wayne County Fair from Thursday, July 22 – Sunday, July 25.
Cost is $50 now through July 21 with the price increasing to $55 the week of the fair on July 22. Day pass costs are $20 each.
Passes can be purchased at Pac N Save, BankFirst, Elkhorn Valley Bank & Trust (Wayne & Hoskins), State Nebraska Bank & Trust, F&M Bank, Bailey’s Hair & Nail in Wayne along with Wayne County Bank in Winside, Farmers State Bank in Carroll, BankFirst in Wakefield and The Station in Carroll.
Again, Thursday’s agenda for the meeting was available for public inspection at the Nebraska Extension in the Wayne County office and on thewaynecountyfair.com.
A full schedule will be released soon but the main highlights will begin with L4 Livestock & LJ Jenkins Ultimate Bullriding on Thursday, July 22; Lucas Oil Pro Pulling League & Nebraska Bush Puller Tractor Pull including four classes of the Western Series Pullers on Friday, July 23; entertainment on Saturday, July 24 provided by the Dylan Bloom Band at 7 p.m.; Larry Fleet at 8 p.m. and Josh Turner at 9:30 p.m. as well as the Demolition Derby on Sunday, July 25.
