Wayne County Board Of Commissioners To Meet Tuesday

WAYNE – For the second time in September, Board of Commissioners in Wayne County will hold their regularly scheduled meeting.

From the Wayne County Courthouse courtroom, commissioners will look to approve County Officials Personal Property Inventories for the 2019-20 fiscal year Tuesday morning starting at 9 a.m. The board will also receive a motion to set their minimum rate for personal property inventories for the 2020-21 fiscal year.

Wayne County Treasurer, Tammy Paustian will approach the board and look to strike a listing from 2005 – 2018 for delinquent personal taxes from the tax list. She’ll then provide a listing of real property with delinquent taxes not sold at annual tax sale. For taxes delinquent three or more years, county officials will either enter an order directing the foreclosure of the lien of such taxes or enter an order for the county treasurer to issue tax sale certificates to the county.

Highway Superintendent, Mark Casey will also provide updates on road, bridge and wind energy projects. A motion will be seeking the approval authorizing the signing of the County Annual Certification of Program Compliance form and resolution replacing the annual filing of the One and Six-Year Plan and the Standardized System of Annual Reporting (SSAR).

Action will be taken on track skid loader bids that were opened on September 1 while the board will look to advertise for bids on a motor grader.
