Wayne Countryview Care And Rehabilitation To Host Chamber Coffee

WAYNE – As Assisted Living Week continues; community members are invited to visit a local assisted living residence during a weekly chamber event.

Put on by the Wayne Area Economic Development office, this week’s host will be Wayne Countryview Care and Rehabilitation. Countryview is located at 811 East 14th Street and Friday morning chamber coffee is scheduled for 10 a.m.

Liz Sharer works with marketing and admissions at Wayne Countryview. She said they have a lot of activities going on during Assisted Living Week.

“Our main day would be Friday and we’re doing a family event for all of our assisted living residents,” said Sharer. “Then we’re doing bingo and then just a family dinner.”

National Assisted Living Week began Sunday, September 8 and goes through Saturday, September 14.

Those who plan on attending Friday morning chamber coffee will need to enter the assisted living doors on the southwest corner of the building.

Countryview Care and Rehabilitation offers outpatient therapy, skilled nursing, assisted living, rehab-to-home and helps people stay active.

“We’re going to have muffins, Cheri (Wingert) the administrator (Misty Wylie) is going to talk as well as myself and the assisted living coordinator,” Sharer added. “So, we’re all going to have a little piece.”
