WAYNE – A series of resolutions and ordinances will be heard during the regularly scheduled Wayne City Council meeting this evening.
From the Wayne Community Activity Center community room, councilmembers will open the meeting at 5:30 p.m. and hear an update on COVID-19.
A public hearing will follow shortly after for an application of a Class D Liquor License for DSF Wayne Short Stop, LLC. Dan and Shelly Fehringer have made an application for this license as they have purchased the former G’s Quick Stop at 1034 Main Street.
Council will then go into discussion on a trio of resulations.
They include accepting bid and awarding a contract on the “Pine Heights Road & Utility Improvements” project; approving amendment number one to the engineering agreement with JEO Consulting Group, Inc. on the “2019 Nebraska Street Improvements” project and authorizing the signing of the Year-End Certification of City Street Superintendent Form.
Jon Mooberry will be representing JEO at the meeting to review bids on the Pine Heights project and discussing the amendment for an additional construction observation on the Nebraska Street project of $4,744.
Also, the 2020 Superintendent Form offers new requirements for the basis of determining the City of Wayne’s calendar year incentive funds. This resolution must be approved, signed and returned to the Department of Transportation by December 31, 2020.
More appointments to the Problem Resolution Team will be addressed along with considering of making an offer on Tax Lot 22 at 111 Fairgrounds Avenue.
