WAYNE – Various Wayne businesses have updated their operations policies in response to the current Coronavirus emergency.

Bomgaars-Hours Change –

Mon- Sat 7:30 am- 6 pm

Sunday- 9 am- 6 pm

Thrift Warehouse –

Thrift Warehouse is closed until April 1st to help curb the spread of COVID-19.

The 4th Jug –

The 4th Jug is offering alcohol with delivery and carryout orders. See the Facebook post for more information.

Wayne First United Methodist Church and Carroll United Methodist Church –

In light of recent developments, The Center for Disease Control and the State of Nebraska have recommended that gatherings limit their size to ten or fewer people for the next two weeks. Wayne First United Methodist Church and Carroll United Methodist Church will also follow these recommendations.

  • We will not be worshipping in our sanctuary through Sunday, April 5. Worship services will continue to be live streamed at 9:00 a.m. (Wayne), with Facebook Live at 11:00 a.m. (Carroll)
  • Small Groups will not meet in the church, but will “meet” electronically.
  • Choir, Bell Choir, and Praise Band rehearsals are suspended.

WAED reports – there have been multiple calls reporting social security calls targeting the area.  If you have any questions or concerns be sure to contact the Wayne Police Department at 402-375-2626
