Virtual Fisheries Meetings Being Offered March 14 – 16 In Each Game & Parks District

LINCOLN – Throughout mid-March plan on joining the Nebraska Game and Parks Commission in a virtual discussion on fisheries management.

According to a release, these meetings will be held in each of the Nebraska Game and Parks districts from Monday, March 14 – Wednesday, March 16.

Fisheries biologists will present updates on regional projects and provide local fishing outlooks. The informal, interactive gatherings will provide a chance for questions, dialogue and feedback.

Meetings will be for the Southeast District on Monday, March 14 at 7 p.m. (CST); Southwest District on Tuesday, March 15 at 7 p.m. (CST); Northeast District on Wednesday, March 16 at 6 p.m. (CST) and Northwest District on Wednesday, March 16 at 8 p.m. (CST).

Registration to attend a regional session is required at outdoornebraska.org/fishingevents.

The virtual meetings will be via Zoom, a free app that can be downloaded to a web browser or mobile device. Participants are encouraged to submit questions using Zoom’s chat feature.

All sessions will be recorded and made available on Game and Parks’ YouTube channel for later viewing.
