WAYNE – Members with Wayne City Council will hold their regularly scheduled meeting this evening.
From the council chambers inside the City Hall, council will meet at 5:30 p.m. tonight.
Travis Meyer with the Wayne Airport Authority as well as Casey Junck, Water Supervisor will provide updates and give reports early in the meeting.
Councilmembers will then take part in a discussion regarding score of services as well as construction oversight services. This would be for the “Transmission Water Main from North Well Field to City Limits” project.
A resolution will seek approval of amendment No. 2 for the Owner-Engineer agreement between the City of Wayne and JEO Consulting Group, Inc. for the project. The additional engineering oversight on the project, pursuant to direction at a recent council retreat, would bring the total engineering services amount to $244,329.
A bid and contract will also be in front of council tonight for the “Wayne Senior Center – Room and Walk-in Freezer Addition” project. Two bids were received on January 16.
A pair of ordinances are on the agenda where Wayne Municipal Code Title XV Land Usage for parking regulations will seek third and final approval. Another ordinance will be addressed about parking restrictions in the industrial area. Street and Planning Director, Joel Hansen received a call from a councilmember asking about Summerfield Drive just north of Williams Form.
