WAYNE – A handful of updates will be provided Tuesday morning during the first of two regularly scheduled Wayne County Board of Commissioner bi-monthly meetings.
From the Wayne County Courthouse courtroom, the meeting will begin at 9 a.m. and JoAnn McKenzie will join Greenwood Cemetery representatives for an update.
Deb Allemann-Dannelly, Clerk of District Court will then bring forward information on purchasing a new desk for the district judge office as well as painting the office.
Treasurer Tammy Paustian will also provide the certifications of new distress warrants issuance.
Another agenda item will then take action on a settlement agreement and release between Herbst Construction, Inc., the Nebraska Department of Transportation and Wayne County for the Wayne West Project. County Attorney, Amy Miller will provide more information.
Mark Casey, Highway Superintendent will inform the board on any road and bridge projects. Also, Chairman Terry Sievers will be authorized to sign a contract with A&R Construction Company for a project.
Commissioners will then close out the meeting by addressing the 2020 Census and redistricting commissioner districts. Commissioner voting districts will be established as well as a date set for a public hearing on the proposed voting districts.
