WAYNE – Make plans to start off the New Year by saving the lives of your fellow community members.
According to a release from LifeServe Blood Center, one blood donation will save the lives of three local hospital patients. In one hour you can do more for your community than most people will do in a lifetime.
Make a resolution to be a lifesaving blood donor in 2020 and schedule an appointment to donate at an upcoming blood drive in your area.
The Wakefield Community Blood Drive is scheduled for Wednesday, January 8 from 2 – 6 p.m. at Christian Church of Wakefield (303 Johnson Street) as the Pender Community Blood Drive will be held the following Tuesday, January 14 from 11:30 a.m. – 5 p.m. at the Pender Community Hospital (100 Hospital Dr.).
