Unofficial Election Results For Area Counties

WAYNE – Unofficial results are in for area counties from the 2020 General Election.

Votes will not be official until the Canvassing Boards convene.

Unofficial results for statewide races will also be posted and refreshed starting at 8:00 p.m. (CDT) and 7:00 p.m. (MDT) on the Secretary of State’s website https://sos.nebraska.gov/

The Wayne County Canvassing Board will meet on Thursday, November 5 at 1:30 p.m. from the Wayne County Courthouse.

Wayne County: Voter turnout in Wayne County: 78.74% with 4,263 of 5,414 registered voters. The last high was 72% in 2016.

Winside School District 95R (top three): Carmie Marotz (314); Landon Grothe (472); Josh Kruse (431) and Scott Watters (295)

District 17 Senator: Joni Albrecht (2,746) and Sheryl Lindau (1,242) (Dakota/Thurston counties also voting)

LCC School District Bond (votes also coming from Cedar/Dixon counties): For (3) and Against (6)

 

Cedar County (mail-in county): 87.61 % (5,058 of 5,773 registered voters)

LCC City Council At Large (top two): Chad Johnson (321); Justin Eriksen (290); Jeff Erwin (216) and Logan Garber (143).

LCC School District Bond (votes also coming from Wayne/Dixon counties): For (611) and Against (645)…123 for and 136 against in Dixon County….three For and six Against in Wayne County.

 

Cuming County: 29.05% (1,704 of 5,865)

West Point-Beemer School District #1 (top three): Randy Popken (1,099); Steven A. Blocher (1,358); Christine Torres (1.067); Steven Hughes (1,761) and Herb Hasenkamp (1,330)

Wisner-Pilger School District #30 (top three): Harlan P. Sateran (612); Mark Glaubius (669); Byron L. Keller (580) and Travis Bellar (540)
