Two WSC Student Films To Premier Tuesday

WAYNE – With several fall student films complete and ready to go, two will be showcased this week.

According to a release from Wayne State College, the films will be featured on Tuesday, November 19 at the Majestic Theatre in downtown Wayne. The theatre is located at 310 Main Street and will open with a red carpet event at 6:30 p.m. and the premier to follow around at 7 p.m. The event is free and open to the public.

Dr. Michael White, assistant professor of Communication Arts at Wayne State College said, “these are the best films we have ever produced and may garner some national awards. Please stop in to see them.’’

“The Offer” is a romance written and produced by Shelby Hagerdon, directed by Ally Boyd.

“Lovesick” is a psychological thriller, written by Andrew Suite, produced by Mark Albers and directed by Kate Lundahl.

The films are 100% written, produced, directed, cast, filmed and edited by the students.
