Two New Cases of COVID-19 in Wayne and Dixon Counties

The patients are both male, one in his 60’s and the other in his 20’s

WAYNE – Julie Rother, Health Director at Northeast Nebraska Public Health Department (NNPHD) reports early Saturday evening – two new positive cases of confirmed COVID-19 within the health district; one case is in Dixon County and the other is in Wayne County.

The patients are both male, one in his 60’s and the other in his 20’s. Public Health has identified the probable sources of infection and have identified close contacts of the persons who are ill.

Please remember to use good social distancing practices such as wearing a face mask when you are out in public, limit contact with others outside your home as much as possible and follow the guidelines of the Directed Health Measures.
