Truck Tractor Bid Opening Tuesday Morning, Discussion On Part-Time Employee Benefits

WAYNE – Board of Commissioners in Wayne County will hold their regularly scheduled meeting on Tuesday, April 5 at 9 a.m.

From the Wayne County Courthouse courtroom, first the Board of Equalization will hold a meeting to address a few items. They include the change of exempt status of Carroll Methodist Church property, an acceleration of personal property as well as homestead corrections.

Moving into the Wayne County Board of Commissioners agenda, Randy Hale will provide an update on caterpillar equipment.

At 9:10 a.m., Debbie Borg will address the Summit Project followed by Mark Casey, Highway Superintendent with updates on the County Bridge Match Projects (CBMP). Casey will also lead a bid opening at 9:30 a.m. for one, two or three new truck tractors.

Wayne County Board of Commissioners will then look to adopt and approve the execution of an agreement to tie-out and reset land monuments for a project. More information will be provided at the meeting. Project No.STP-98-5 (106) – North JCT US-81 – N-35

Commissioner Dean Burbach will also bring forth information and discuss on modifying part-time employee benefits.
