NORFOLK – Not even snack food is safe from Mother Nature’s fury.
Monday morning’s high winds are being blamed for an accident in Stanton County Monday morning.
Stanton County Sheriff Mike Unger says it happened just after 5:00 a.m. on Highway 35 north of the Woodland Park neighborhood of Norfolk.
Unger says a northbound Frito-Lay truck was blown completely off the road by a strong crosswind.
The driver of the vehicle suffered what were called minor injuries and declined treatment at the scene.
