WAYNE – A handful of new COVID-19 positive cases have been confirmed for a county within the Northeast Nebraska Public Health Department Health District.
According to a release from NNPHD, the new patients all reside in Thurston county being two males and three females with ages being 10 and under, 20s, 30s, 40s and 70s.
As of Wednesday afternoon, there have been 1,275 COVID-19 tests reported for people living in the NNPHD Health District of Cedar, Dixon, Thurston and Wayne counties. The results of these tests are 234 positive cases (Cedar – 8, Dixon – 44, Thurston – 156 and Wayne county – 26), 995 negatives and 46 tests currently pending results.
