Three Northeast Nebraska Individuals Make Up the Young Cattlemen’s Conference Class

LINCOLN – Early last week the Nebraska Cattlemen Association announced their 2020 class.

According to a release from the Nebraska Cattlemen, their upcoming class of Young Cattlemen’s Conference (YCC) were accepted from throughout the state. These individuals were selected by a committee to participate in the two-year leadership program.

Northeast Nebraska representatives are Tony Thelen of Randolph, Allissa Troyer of West Point and Justin Sindelar of Wisner.

The Nebraska Cattlemen had another year of outstanding applicants for the Young Cattlemen’s Conference class of 2020. The leadership group and staff is looking forward to meeting and interacting with this group. Goals from the Nebraska Cattlemen Association is to spark interest within the participants, giving them the desire to come back and serve as board members to Nebraska and the national organization.

During the two-year program, YCC members are provided training on professional communication, given the opportunity to tour multiple Nebraska-based agriculture production facilities as well as learning to navigate state agencies and legislative processes.

The conference is sponsored by Farm Credit Services of America and Nebraska Cattlemen Foundation.
