Third Annual Bressler-Fest To Kickoff Sunday

WAYNE – The lineup is set and for the next four weekends northeast Nebraska residents can look forward to a relaxing Sunday evening with great music and an outdoor picnic.

Bressler-Fest is back for season three of four Sundays featuring music in the park. Bressler Park is located between 9th & 10th streets along Douglas and Lincoln with the stage found on the southeast corner of the park.

Kicking off Bressler-Fest this Sunday, September 8 will be a duo who was recently on the stage during chicken days this past July. The Ted & Alice Miller Band are both singer and songwriters from northeast Nebraska writing songs and creating music about the Nebraska life we know and live.

The night will offer an opportunity for a picnic with family and friends while enjoying live music. The food truck will arrive at 5 p.m. with music lasting from 6 until 8 p.m. If there is inclement weather, the event will be moved inside the City Auditorium at 220 Pearl Street.

Other Bressler-Fest Sunday night music is scheduled for September 15 with the Nebraska Brass Band; September 22 featuring E-Z-B Combo and closing out the month on September 29 with Stonehouse.
