LAUREL – Teammates with Laurel-Concord-Coleridge Public Schools is celebrating 20 years and will be putting on a week-day event along with raising scholarship funds.
According to a release from LCC Teammates, the group currently has 110 students enrolled in the program.
Former Husker head coach Tom Osborne founded the Teammates Mentoring Program in 1991 to have 22 of his football players mentor a student into success. Laurel Concord Coleridge School in Nebraska joined this program in 2001 and for the past 20 years has contributed to match up students with community adults of all ages.
Teammates at LCC is offering an exciting travel package to help raise scholarship funds for their students being a six-day, two-city trip and tickets to see the Husker football team play in Ireland in 2022.
The Teammates Mentoring Program of Laurel-Concord-Coleridge will be hosting a board game night on Tuesday, November 3 in the legacy gym at Laurel-Concord-Coleridge school between 3:45 – 5:30 p.m.
