Superintendent Candidates To Be Interviewed Through Zoom Wednesday, Thursday

WAKEFIELD – The search for the next Superintendent at Wakefield Community Schools has been narrowed down.

According to a release from the school website (wakefieldschools.org) on Tuesday, five candidates will be interviewed over the next two days.

The Wakefield Board of Education will conduct these interviews for the Superintendent of Schools position.

Interview times for Wednesday (today) will be Matt Farup (4 – 5:15 p.m.), Russ Plager (5:30 – 6:45 p.m.) and Kyle Finke (7 – 8:15 p.m.) while candidates being interviewed on Thursday will be Kevin Finkey (4 – 5:15 p.m.) and Josh Weber (5:30 – 6:45 p.m.).

Due to COVID-19 and related Directed Health Measure restrictions, the interview process between the Board of Education and the respective superintendent candidates will be offered via the Zoom platform. Patrons wishing to view the interviews are asked to use the following Zoom links:

Mike Moody is currently serving in the Superintendent position filling in for Mark Bejot who’s final day was December 31, 2019.
