WAYNE – Community members are invited to a “Super Soup Supper” fundraiser on Wednesday, January 30 during Catholic Schools Week.
St. Mary’s Catholic School in Wayne is hosting this event which will benefit school improvement projects. The free will offering fundraiser will last from 6 until 7:30 p.m.
Get out of the cold and enjoy warm soup, sandwiches and a dessert. There will also be a children’s activity at 7 p.m.
Catholic Schools Week concludes on Saturday, February 2. Throughout the week St. Mary’s School celebrates their community, students, nation, vocation as well as parents, faculty and staff.
Students will dress up in the colors of the United States flag Wednesday, with pajama day on Thursday and dress their best Friday.
A parent appreciation mass/lunch will be held on Friday, February 1. Mass will begin at 11:15 a.m. with lunch to follow in the Holy Family Hall. Students will be dismissed following the Parent Appreciation Lunch/Presentation.

Also, mark in your calendar May 19 at 1 p.m. to celebrate the 65th Anniversary of St. Mary’s Catholic School. Music will be provided by Mike Geiler along with a taco truck and bouncy houses.
