South Sioux Native Brought Into Custody Over Parole Violation

SOUTH SIOUX CITY – Local law enforcement as well as investigators with the Nebraska State Patrol have arrested a man wanted on a parole violation.

According to a release from NSP, the group worked with the United States Marshals Service violent offender task force in the process.

Alan Adams, 19, of South Sioux City, Nebraska was arrested Thursday. Adams was located hiding in the attic of a residence in South Sioux City and taken into custody without incident. The Dakota County Sheriff’s Office and South Sioux City Police Department also assisted in the arrest.

He was lodged in Dakota County Jail and is awaiting extradition to the state of Iowa.  Adams was arrested following a past conviction of delivery of narcotics and assault on a police officer.
