Seventh Annual Cars-N-Carroll Show & Shine To Be Featured On Fourth Sunday In September

CARROLL – With over 220 entries last year, the 2020 Cars-N-Carroll Show & Shine returns with high expectations of topping that number with the event set for this weekend.

Rain or shine, the Seventh annual Cars-N-Carroll Show & Shine is scheduled for Sunday, September 27 from noon until 4 p.m.

Entertainment will be provided by Highway 33 and Dave Merkel One Man band along with there being food and vendors.

There is no fee to enter as registration begins at 9:30 a.m. Sunday. Those who register their vehicle will be entered in for door prizes and the first 150 entries will receive a dash plaque.

The Kids Show & Shine will be for youth ages 2-10. Shine up your bicycles, pedal cars, pedal tractors and battery-operated ride on toys. The first 20 registered staring at 11 a.m. at the Carroll City Park will receive goodie bags.

Cars-N-Carroll Show & Shine is free to the public. The purpose is to have an afternoon of family fun for all that share an appreciation for classic vehicles and history.

The people’s choice awards will be presented at 3:30 p.m. Sunday along with CNC’s five-foot tall Colossal Sponsor trophies. In total there will be 16 trophies presented.

The event was approved by the Northeast Nebraska Public Health Department, with the only exception is there’ll be no corn hole or pitch tournament this year. The Carroll Park Renovation group was sponsoring these events as they have now been postponed until next year.
