CONCORD – Plan on making a trip to Concord in early August for their Family Field Day.
According to a release from the Haskell Ag Lab (HAL), this year’s Science & Ag Family Field Day will be on Wednesday, August 3.
The Haskell Ag Lab is celebrating 65 years (1957 – 2022) by honoring the past, celebrating the present and dreaming for the future.
Located at 57905 866th Road in Concord, registration will begin at 8:30 a.m. on August 3 at the Haskell Ag Lab.
This event is free and open to the public as activities will be offered between 9 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. Tickets for food trucks will be issued at registration.
The August 3 HAL Family Field Day will feature educational presentations highlighting Nebraska Land Values Pollinators; Backyard Farmer Panel; Northeast Arboretum Tours; Research Farm Tours; Heartland Docs DVM (Drs. Ben and Erin) as well as an Ag Budget Calculator.
Also, there’ll be Drones; Al Dutcher, UNL Climatologist; Cooking Demonstrations; Mobile Beef Lab; Science Literacy; DIY Waterwise Landscaping; Farm Safety for Kids and activities for children.
