NSP Selectives To Be Held For Northeast Nebraska Schools

NORFOLK – With school in full swing, the Nebraska State Patrol – Troop B will be conducting selectives in and around schools in their area.

According to a release from NSP, these efforts are an attempt to ensure a safe and distraction free trip to and from school.

The special enforcements will include patrols during the morning drop off and afternoon pick up times. Troopers will also be focusing on the extra-curricular events during the evening hours as school supporters travel to the activities.

Troop B (Norfolk) is hoping that drivers will exercise extreme caution in and around the schools and are already voluntarily complying with the traffic safety laws. NSP would like commuters to help keep kids safe by always buckling up, obeying all the rules of the road and never drive distracted to or from school.
