Santa To Visit Wayne Library

WAYNE – With the holiday season in full swing, the big man himself will be making a special stop at a northeast Nebraska Public Library this week.

On Tuesday, December 4, the Wayne Library invites families to come visit Santa from 5:30 – 7:30 p.m.

A Christmas story will also be read, along with coloring, crafts and, of course, cookies.

Another event scheduled for this week will be “Board Game Night” on Thursday, December 6. Starting at 6:30 p.m., come and play games while enjoying snacks as a community. There’ll be games for all ages.

Also, “The Needle Night” group is very informal and welcomes anyone who knits, crochets, weaves and more. Every Thursday form 6-8 p.m., needlework classes are set aside for anyone who shows up. On the last Thursday of the month, the community joins a college group at the campus library while WSC classes are in session.

The Wayne Public Library is located at 410 Pearl Street and can be contacted at 402-375-3135.

The library is open from 10 a.m. – 8 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 10 a.m. – 6 p.m. on Friday’s, 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. Saturday’s and 2 – 5 p.m. on Sunday’s.
