Runza Feeds The Need Fundraiser Is April 5; Support Youth Huger And Food Insecurity

WAYNE – An early April fundraiser will donate 10% of sales all day long to local programs focusing on youth hunger and food insecurity.

According to a release, the Fifth annual Runza Feeds the Need Fundraiser will be on Tuesday, April 5. Over the past four years, more than $135,000 has been donated.

All Runza locations will donate 10% of sales all day Tuesday whether it be lunch, dinner, a mid-afternoon snack or a late night treat; all sales are important. Drive-thru, dine-in or take-out orders will support Runza Feeds the Need.

Local programs working to alleviate childhood hunger will receive the proceeds from this fundraiser. One in six children in this area don’t know when they will have their next meal.
