WAYNE – With two more matches remaining in the third round of KTCH quiz bowl action, elite eight matches are set for next week.

Week seven, third round scores:
Monday, February 17: Logan View defeated Wisner-Pilger (3-2) and Madison defeated Verdigre (3-2).
Tuesday, February 18: Wahoo defeated St. Mary’s of O’Neill (3-2) and South Sioux City defeated Plainview (2-1)
Wednesday, February 19: Battle Creek defeated Elkhorn Valley (1-0) and Pender defeated Wausa (2-1)
The final third round matches of Lutheran High Northeast vs. Clearwater at 9:30 a.m. and Tekamah-Herman vs. Winnebago at 10:30 a.m. will be aired on Monday, February 24 with state wrestling taking place Thursday, February 20 – Saturday, February 22.
Week eight, elite eight matches:
Tuesday, February 25: Logan View vs. Madison at 9:30 a.m. and Wahoo vs. South Sioux City at 10:30 a.m.
Wednesday, February 26: Battle Creek vs Pender at 9:30 a.m. and 2/24 winners at 10:30 a.m.
The final four matches will be aired on Thursday, February 27.
