Road Superintendent To Update Commissioners, Board To Address Litigation

WAYNE – For the second time in the month of November, the regularly scheduled Wayne County Board of Commissioners meeting will be held.

From the Wayne County Courthouse courtroom, Tuesday morning’s meeting will start at 9 a.m.

Mark Casey, Road Superintendent, will seek approval of the NDOT master agreement and signed resolution for Land Survey Corner Preservation being a five-year agreement. The group will also discuss and finalize the lists of bridges being submitted for round seven of the County Bridge Match Program (CBMP) applications.

Wayne County Commissioners will go into executive session addressing litigation.

Another agenda item states there’ll be action on joint defense Rick Hill v. Debra Finn Wayne County Clerk, etal with more details possibly provided during the meeting.

Another action item will be approving a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between Madison County and Wayne County. This would be for the Nebraska Crime Commission’s 2023-24 Community Based Juvenile Services Grant application.
