Ribbon Cutting Brings Ekeko Blends & Goods, LLC To Wayne America

WAYNE – Community members and the office of Wayne Area Economic Development welcomed a new business during a ribbon cutting and Chamber Coffee event Friday morning.

Ekeko Blends & Goods, LLC opened their doors in late December as Dr. Mytzy Rodriguez-Kufner talked about how business has been.

“People have come in and sat down for quite a few hours and which it’s appreciative,” said Rodriguez-Kufner. “I really enjoy seeing people in here and just chatting and reminiscing. I think it’s a nice sit-down place for people to come in.”

Children games along with chess and checkers can be played while enjoying their time in the juice bar and café.

Ekeko Blends is currently open Tuesday – Thursday from 10 a.m. – 6 p.m., Friday and Saturday from 10 a.m. – 8 p.m. and Sunday from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. while being closed Monday’s.

Until Rodriguez-Kufner finds help, she is a one-woman show.

Decorations on the walls include Peruvian artifacts to bring cultural awareness for South American and Peruvian culture.

Rodriguez-Kufner would like to thank all the supporters of Ekeko Blends & Goods, LLC and added to bring in your ideas.

“I like to get feedback,” Rodriguez-Kufner added. “I’m just always changing things up so that I can provide the best service I can for my customers.”

Among the menu, Rodriguez-Kufner offers cold pressed juices, Peruvian coffee, espressos, shakes, teas and some food items including pastries and desserts.
