WAYNE – With the next Friday morning chamber event going back to an in-person format on the second Friday in July, ChamberPercs welcomed in another host through the Wayne, NE Facebook page last week.
Garek Bebee joined executive director with Wayne Area Economic Development, Luke Virgil on Friday, June 26.
Rezurrected Rod and Kustom is going on their sixth year in Wayne located at 115 Clark Street.
Garek Bebee started the business in 2014 on his own and the work just kept coming in.
“One referral to the next referral and as the workload started to mount up, we slowly brought more employees into the business,” said Bebee. “So, we currently have 6.5 employees.”
Bebee added each employee has their own specialty.
“Our tech does all of our wiring and all of our suspension work,” Bebee added. “Our guys in the body show they’re pretty much body, and paint and trim work. Right now, I’m doing all of the upholstery and then we got guys tearing projects down as they come in and blue printing.”

Beebe mentioned they also do every aspect of the build in-house.
“There’s not a lot of shops out there that can say that,” Bebee mentioned. “So, we do all our own wiring, our own sheet metal, our own body and paint, our own upholstery, our own suspension work. If it’s done on the build, we do it all in house.”
The 40th annual Wayne Chicken Show was originally scheduled for Friday, July 10 – Sunday, July 12 but has been rescheduled to a one-day event on Saturday, September 12 due to COVID-19.
