WAYNE – It was another night of fun for the family and record amount of money contributed during the 2019 March Runza Night event.
Earlier this week on Tuesday, March 19, the community of Wayne assisted in raising $600 for Wayne Elementary School. This marks the highest amount in the six-year history of Runza Nights.
Since 2013, Wayne Runza has donated over $5,000 to support Wayne Elementary.
The Wayne Runza location donated 15% of all sales from dine-in, carry-out and drive-thru directly to the school.
Runza Rex also made a special appearance throughout the evening between 5-8 p.m. bringing smiles to many faces. Staff with the elementary volunteered in the dining room serving customers and clearing tables.

Liam Rockhill was awarded a $10 gift certificate to Runza donated by WEB for guessing the closest amount of how many Runzas were sold. Rockhill guessed 109 as there were 111.5 sold.
