Recipients Of SNB Community, FFA Scholarships Go Towards Five Wayne High Seniors

WAYNE – A handful of Wayne High graduating seniors were recently awarded bank scholarships worth more than $15,000.

According to a release from State Nebraska Bank & Trust, Allyson Avery, Autumn Avery and Megan Lambert are this year’s recipients of the SNB Community Scholarship while Faith Junck and Casey Koenig are the recipients of the SNB FFA Scholarship.

The SNB Community Scholarship will cover the first year of tuition at Wayne State College while the SNB FFA Scholarship is worth $1,000 each and given to students who plan to study and have a career in agriculture.

Junck will attend the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and Koenig will attend South Dakota State University.
