Rebate Check, Technology Updates In Courtroom Among Board Of Commissioners Agenda

WAYNE – Three more ARPA Grant Applications in Wayne County will be addressed this morning during the regularly scheduled Wayne County Board of Commissioners meeting.

From the Wayne County Courthouse courtroom at 9 a.m. today, the board will first hear from Steve Muir with Elkhorn Valley Insurance. Muir will present a rebate check from United HealthCare for the 2021 Medical Loss Ratio.

Clerk of District Court Deb Allemann-Dannelly will be joined by Clerk Magistrate Ashley Siebrandt addressing computer technology updates in the courtroom.

Mark Casey, Road Superintendent will also review before taking action on the purchase agreement for 1.41 acres from Union Pacific Railroad Company. Commissioners will also look to authorize a purchase of a motor grader through Sourcewell.

The three ARPA Grant Applications being highlighted will be for Hoskins Fire District 3 ($248,109 for a new water tanker); Wayne County Sheriff ($49,396 for a law enforcement cruiser) and Northeast Nebraska Public Health Department ($635,000 for an office building).

Commissioners will then review and take action on an ARPA State and Local Fiscal Recovery Funds Payment Agreement before concluding their meeting.
