WAYNE – Friday morning Chamber Coffee invited the public just east of Providence Medical Center where they were given more information about what Country View Assisted Living offers.
Located at 811 E 14th Street, Country View Assisted Living and Careage Campus of Care are attached.
Misty Wylie has been the Coordinator of Country View Assisted Living for the past seven years. She talked about the group who works on the assisted living side.
“We’re actually a small group of staff,” said Wylie. “So, it’s nice because it’s always the same person in your room every day. We get to know the residents; the residents get to know all of us. So, there is six of us.”
With Assisted Living Week concluding Saturday, County View Assisted Living wanted to host Chamber Coffee celebrating their residents along with their families who share their loved ones with Country View.
Tara Helenthal is the new Executive Director while Cheri Wingert is an Administrator-In-Training with Country View Assisted Living.
Wylie added Careage Campus of Care and Country View Assisted Living are all one building.
“Which is nice that we’re attached because you’re not moving from one building to another,” Wylie added. “And you’re not really leaving the people who you know, your friends. You can just move right down the hallway and continue on.”
Country View currently has 14 residents and are licensed for 32 beds while Careage has 36 residents with a max capacity of 60 beds.
Contact Country View Assisted Living at 402-375-1922 for more information or if you want to go for a tour.
Careage Campus of Care is updating some of their hallways, flooring and walls as Country View Assisted Living will add remodels to a few rooms. Country View had other remodels done in 2015.
Join the Young Professionals (YP) on Friday, September 21 for the next Chamber Coffee at 10 a.m. The event will be held in the 200 block alley of Main Street.
